Tara Delaney

Tara Delaney moved to Colorado from New York City in 2012, seeking the sunshine, ski mountains, and a place to raise her family. Tara’s first career was in the advertising industry – building global brand campaigns, client relationships and creative problem-solving.

Tara transitioned to the legal field in 2018, working side by side with an attorney for a small family law practice specializing in the representation of parents and children in dependency and neglect matters. Tara was sworn in as a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional in 2025, a role that reflects her commitment to justice and her dedication to serve families with professionalism and care. In this role, she can represent clients directly in family law matters like divorce, legal separation, child custody, child support, name changes, protective orders, and adult gender designation changes. Tara is a problem solver and fierce advocate for clients.

When she’s not working, you can find Tara playing USTA league tennis (and taking it a little too seriously) and spending time with her husband, two children, and rescue pets.

EDUCATION

Tara graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minors in Psychology and Spanish. Tara is part of the second class of Colorado’s licensed legal paraprofessionals and took the Oath of Office in 2025.
